WHAT IS BREAST AUGMENTATION AESTHETICS?

Breast augmentation surgery, also known as augmentation, is a surgical procedure performed to increase the size of the breast. In this procedure, breast implants are placed under the breast tissue or breast muscle.

WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF BREAST AUGMENTATION SURGERY?

WHAT KIND OF IMPLANTS ARE USED IN BREAST AUGMENTATION OPERATIONS?

In operations where the body’s own tissue is used, the fat taken from both sides of the abdomen is placed in the breast tissue. These tissues must be permanent in their new place. For this reason, they should be fed with a vein. It needs to be transplanted with stem cells to form new vessels.

Implants, on the other hand, may contain silicone gel or saline in a silicone cover. Saline-containing implants are filled with sterile saline fluid after insertion.

HOW IS BREAST AUGMENTATION SURGERY PERFORMED?

The surgeon can make a single incision in the breast implant is one of three possible locations. These;

• Under Arm (Axillary)
• From the Curl Under the Bust (Inframammary)
• Around the Nipple (Periareolar)

After the incision, the surgeon will separate the breast tissue from the chest muscles and connective tissue, creating a pocket in front of or behind the outermost muscle of the chest wall. The surgeon will place the implant in this pocket and center it behind the nipple. After the implant is placed in its place, the incisions will be closed with stitches. The incision site is extremely important to minimize scar formation.
